Don't forget your Flu Shot!
More than 36,000 people die each year of the influenza virus and more than 200,000 are hospitalized. Getting a flu vaccine is a fast and easy way to protect yourself during flu season.
Some people think they don’t need a flu shot. Others believe it’s not effective. Truth is, the vaccine is effective 70-90% of the time in preventing the flu or lessening its severity [Source: cdc.gov/flu]. So when the vaccine supply is abundant, all adults—regardless of age or health status—should get a flu shot.
* Flu vaccinations are completed on-site once a year. Check back early fall of 2017 for an updated schedule.
