What really works?  In this webinar, Jenny Lobb, a Registered Dietitian and Extension Educator, will share strategies you might use to cut calories without feeling deprived, ultimately leading you toward a sustainable lifestyle change for the better.

Suicide Prevention: Together, We Can Save Lives!

According to the latest (2016) data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, suicide is the 10th ranking cause of death in the U.S. (homicide ranks 16th), and on average, one person dies by suicide every 11.7 minutes. Understanding the issues concerning suicide and mental health is an important way to take part in suicide prevention, help others in crisis, and change the conversation around suicide. This webinar will help familiarize participants with the risks and warning signs as well as offer ways to communicate hope and challenge mental health stigma. Everyone has a role to play in preventing suicide!
