Tired of waiting for your medical benefit details to arrive by print mail? Now you can access your Explanation of Benefits (EOB) faster, easier, and more securely when you sign up to receive electronic communications.

Your EOB shows your medical claims and payments processed by Luminare Health, the third-party administrator for your Ohio State Faculty and Staff medical plan. For example, you receive an EOB after you see your Primary Care Provider or have a service such as lab work or a visit to Urgent Care. Once you have signed up for electronic communications (also known as eEOBs), you’ll begin receiving an email notification when your EOB is ready rather than waiting for it to arrive by mail. You’ll follow the instructions in that email to access it via myLuminareHealth.com. It’s that easy!

 Follow These Simple Steps to Sign Up for Electronic Communications

1. Go to myLuminareHealth.com and log in.
   New user? Click Create an Account to get started.
2. Click About Me at the top left.
   First-time users will be directed here automatically.
3. Click Edit at the bottom left and enter your email address.
4. Choose the types of information you want to receive electronically and click Save.

Once enrolled, you’ll start receiving your EOBs via email. You can update your email address anytime by logging in and visiting the About Me tab.
