The Ohio State Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is an important component of Your Plan for Health. For benefits-eligible faculty, staff and their eligible family and household members, EAP provides tools and resources to help address mental health and emotional well-being.

How does the EAP work?
The Ohio State EAP provides up to five complimentary counseling sessions, consultation, crisis response and training by licensed, experienced mental health professionals. Counseling experiences are kept strictly confidential, as required by law.

How do I access the Employee Assistance Program?
You can schedule an appointment for in person, video or phone counseling by contacting one of our live counselors, available 24/7 at 800-678-6265. Counselors are available through the OSU Health Plan and through our partner, IMPACT Solutions.
