Emotional Wellbeing
Mitigation Strategies to Address Emotional Exhaustion
People who work in “helping” professions often feel a call to serve. While this sense of purpose can make the work very fulfilling, the work itself is often rife with challenges and there is an emotional cost to caring so much. This workshop will guide participants to recognize and identify drivers of burnout as well as a roadmap to resilience across the span of a career. We’ll discuss both individual and system-level strategies, and we’ll explore common roadblocks that impede our ability to follow through.

Join this informative webinar to learn about a FREE statewide resource program for Alzheimer’s and related dementias. The Golden Buckeye Center for Dementia Caregiving at The Ohio State University College of Nursing is a unique care partner-focused center offering virtual and in-person trainings, education, resources, and referral for dementia and dementia caregiving. Faculty, staff, and students are all encouraged to utilize the resources, programs and services offered through Golden Buckeye Center, which are available to all Ohioans at no cost.
